Dear Sir and Comrade,
This is to acknowledge the receipt of yours of the 29th ultimo, in which you enclose a list of 23 living Sister of the Holy Cross, with number of Pension certificate, etc., who are anxious to receive Nurses badges.
At the last National Encampment held in Denver, a resolution was passed providing for badges “for all surviving nurses of the great war, who shall establish their right to be known as such nurses, by evidence satisfactory to the Council of Administration.”
The next meeting of the Council of Administration will be held at Minneapolis in August next, when your communication will be submitted to that body for action.
Sincerely yours in F.C.&L., John (illegible)
